Guest House and Hotels – Get MORE from Guest Bedrooms
We know how hard it can be to dress a bedroom in a family home but getting it right in guest accommodation is even harder. But we have the solutions you are looking for.
A guest bedroom needs to tick a lot of boxes. As well as practical and stylish, it needs to pack in the storage and have the wow factor. So just how can you do this?
Room by room
On the face of it, it may look like every room is the same but in many hotels and guest houses, every guest bedroom is different.
And we think this should be celebrated which is why a room by room approach yields better results than trying to make one design scheme fit all rooms.
We take a bespoke approach to every project we undertake, from furniture in the family home to creating fitted wardrobes and other bedroom furniture in guest houses and hotel rooms.
We know that by doing this, you get the best solutions for your guest bedrooms but within budget too.
EVERY room needs a wow factor
There needs to be something in each room that instantly grabs the attention of a guest as they walk through the door.
It could be the sumptuous bed, the large headboard, the beautiful four-poster bed or even the bright accent colour used in the scheme.
If you don’t have an immediate focal point or wow factor, the room will look too flat, unappealing and overly corporate.
Larger bedside tables
It is a little-known trick but one that many high-end hotels and boutique guest houses use and maybe one you would like to try in guest bedrooms: the oversized bedside table.
Maybe it is the appeal to the eye or the fact that it looks sumptuous and over-sized that gives a large bedside table importance in a luxurious guest bedroom.
We may think that by opting for a smaller table, we are maximising space but it seems that it has the opposite effect.
Consider the detailing
In every guest bedroom, there needs to be consideration around the detailing and we have some great suggestions;
- Solve temporary and impromptu storage problems with an ottoman or upholstered stool positioned at the end of the bed. It adds an extra detail too, living the bedroom from ordinary to sumptuous.
- Don’t skimp on the quality of the bed linen. Guests will immediately spot quality but will also enjoy the feel of the bed linen
- Using subtle metallic finishes gives the room a sheen which also adds to the air of it being a chic and stylish space.
- Don’t forget to cater for all your guests and thus, a console table acting as a dressing table is an ideal solution when you don’t have a lot of floor space to play with.
We work with hoteliers and guest house owners across the country, bringing stylish solutions for guest bedrooms. And we can help you too.
